It made sense for the first iteration to consider Maggie Crowley’s artwork as she is able to reorient systems of value within her images and brings forward the wild beauty in the everyday. Explore the first issue of Momma to see why this Chicago painter turns her 👁 to utility fabrics, safety vests, gloves, soapstone, an anniversary bouquet, checker patterns, and hair combs.
